Lohan Praises Banner Improvements In Hurling League Clash With Limerick

Clare and Limerick shared the spoils in the National Hurling League with a draw in Cusack Park yesterday.

Brian Lohan’s men welcomed the Shannonsiders to Ennis in the hopes of back-to-back wins, while Limerick were chasing their first win of the campaign.

A first half goal from David Fitzgerald was disallowed, leaving Limerick two points ahead at the break. The Banner rallied in the second half and took a late lead, before a last-gasp equaliser from the visitors left the game tied.

Final score in Cusack Park was Clare 0-18, Limerick 0-18.
