The number of admitted patients waiting for a bed at the region’s main hospital is more than double that of any other hospital in the country today.
The latest figures from the INMO show there were 107 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning, 43 of those in the Emergency Department.

Overall 470 patients were left waiting for beds at hospitals across the country.
