A Shannon GP is warning new cases of COVID-19 will continue to rise in Clare and and elsewhere in the coming weeks.
There were over 100 new cases confirmed in Clare across the weekend, including 59 which were announced on Saturday – that’s the highest daily amount here since the beginning of the pandemic.
Clare now has the highest rate of anywhere in Ireland, with the exception of the border counties of Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan.
Speaking to Clare FM’s Josh Prenderville, Shannon GP Dr Yvonne Williams says it’s a major concern.
