The Mayor of Ennis is confident that the Winter plan put in place at Shannon Doc will meet the needs of the people this Christmas.
In November alone, the urgent out of hours GP service facilitated 8,527 contacts across the county and would refer 702 patients to the Emergency Department.

Ahead of an expected surge surge of respiratory cases, Shannon Doc says it has enhanced doctor and nurse triage services, with 20% more nurses, doctors and call centre controllers on its roster than this time last year.
Despite widespread service accessibility issues for patients last Christmas, Ennis Fianna Fáil Councillor Pat Daly is confident the GP Co-op is well equipped.
