Clare’s sports clubs are beginning the new year amid uncertainty in the weeks and months ahead.
Players across all sports are limited to individual training until at least January 31st, with the GAA currently reviewing its date for resuming inter county training, which was due to be the 15th of January.
The Clare District Soccer League’s resumption date of January 17th now looks certain to be pushed back into February.
Local rugby sides Ennis and Scariff have also yet to kick a ball this campaign following their seasons being curtailed by previous restrictions back in October.
