There are growing fears that the easing of restrictions due to be considered after April 5th may now be impeded by a continuation of high numbers of new covid cases.

While the government isn’t due to make a decision until a full cabinet meeting takes place next Tuesday, there’s already speculation that an easing of the 5km travel limit, the reopening of construction and the resumption of outdoor sporting activating could be in jeopardy.

There have been conflicting views put forth by local representatives over the past number of days – but, what do the experts think?
