On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by Prof. Brian Lenehan, Clinical Director of University Hospital Limerick to address the 97 patients who were on trolleys on Tuesday morning at the facility.
Alan was then joined by Marie McMahon from the MidWest Hospital Campaign and by Stephen McMahon from the Irish Patient’s Association to react to the figure.
Following the interview, it was annouced that today’s trolley numbers are even higher – with 111 people waiting for a bed at the region’s main hospital.
