Vicky Phelan will be awarded the Freedom of Limerick at an online ceremony later today.
The 46 year old is being honoured for her advocacy work for women’s health by uncovering the Cervical Check scandal.
Vicky returned to Ireland last November following nine months of cancer treatment in the US.
