A Clare man who’s been diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer is appealing to people not to delay getting checked out, when they have health concerns.

50 year-old Paddy Sheedy, who’s originally from Newmarket on Fergus, has recently been informed that his cancer has spread throughout his body and that no more treatment is available to him.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to raise funds for the father of six and his family.

This month is bowel cancer awareness month and Paddy is urging people with concerns, even those without typical symptoms, to go to their doctor for advice.
