The final days of the Presidential campaign look set to be about Seán Gallagher after he admitted he may have taken a 5,000 euro donation from a "convicted criminal and fuel smuggler" for Fianna Fáil.

Mr Gallagher has again been forced to defend his Fianna Fáil past as the focus turns on him as he leads opinion polls.
