Clare will name their team later for Saturday’s All Ireland football qualifier showdown with Roscommon in Croke Park.
Full-back Cillian Brennan is understood to be a major doubt for the game having also missed out on last weekend’s win over Meath with a leg injury.
It is expected that Keelan Sexton will start this time around having been introduced from the bench against the Royals, with Cillian Rouine also back in contention for a starting place in the defence.
