Clare FM has received another boost in the latest national listenership survey.

The latest JNLR – IPSOS – MRBI listenership figures, which have just been published, show the award-winning radio station now has over 57,000 people tuning in every week.

The survey, which covers the period from July 2021 to June 2022, shows listeners are tuning in for longer periods, with an increase of 2% in the station’s market share, while there’s also been a 2% increase in listeners tuning in every day.

Clare FM continues to rank among the top most listened to local Stations in the Country, with more than double the listenership of the National and regional stations in the County.

Clare FM’s Programme Director, Padraic Flaherty said “These figures reflect listening habits over the past 12 months and during this time, we’ve introduced new shows, added new homegrown presenters to our schedule, which is performing extremely well and we’re absolutely delighted.

“To see an increase in daily reach and market share in the one survey is a great result for Clare FM and certainly reflects the hard work carried out by a very dedicated team committed to producing great radio.

“For the past 33 years, Clare FM has always delivered the best music, news and sport, but in a very challenging media environment, it’s great to see Clare FM surge ahead of the rest.

“Each day, our priority is to provide the people of Clare with the latest and most up to date news along with unrivalled sport. The Club Championships have begun, we’re doing more live broadcasts this year than we’ve ever done before and it’s always our aim to keep playing the biggest hits.

“These figures are hot on the heels of the Best of Clare Awards, which took the county by storm and we’d great fun with it.

“We’re absolutely thrilled with these figures. A sincere thank you to our advertisers and listeners for continuing to make Clare FM your number one choice” he concluded.
