Meath East TD Regina Doherty will make a formal complaint to the leader of the Seanad about Senator David Norris.

It follows angry exchanges in the Seanad yesterday, during which Senator Norris rounded on Deputy Doherty over the forthcoming referendum on the abolition of the upper house.
Ms Doherty says she found his language "sexist and deeply inappropriate".
Speaking last night on TV3’S Tonight with Vincent Browne, she said David Norris had brought the Seanad into disrepute.
