A Kilkee Councillor says the community won’t give up the fight if the decision to deny permission for a caravan park in the town is appealed.
Gold Star Homes 3 Limited were refused planning by Clare County Council for a 45 vehicle mobile home park in Dough on the outskirts of the West Clare town.
14 objections were lodged against the development citing concerns over the impact on the local road network and the oversaturation of tourist accommodation.
Fianna Fáil Councillor Cillian Murphy has been telling Clare FM’s Rebecca O’Sullivan he’s hopeful An Bord Pleanala will respect the decision of local planners.
