120 incidents of racism were reported to the Immigrant Council of Ireland during the past year.

A new study from the group reveals that almost one third of reports were about racism in the workplace – while 29 per cent said they suffered racism through Government or State bodies – such as An Garda Siochana.
And almost 17 per cent reported experiencing racism online.
