On Wednesday’s Morning Focus, Alan went on his travels to the beautiful surroundings of the West Clare Coast visiting Spanish Point Golf Club.
The renowned course celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2021, however the festivities were somewhat curtailed by the Covid – 19 Pandemic.
Upon visiting Alan spoke to Club Secretary Noel Connellan who recently assembled a twenty-six page booklet commemorating the history of Spanish Point Golf Club whilst also hearing from current Men’s Captain Micheál Healy and Ladie’s Captain Sally O’Dwyer.
