Clare senior football Manager Colm Collins says David Tubridy will continue to dominate club football in the Banner county for years to come.

Doonbeg clubman David Tubridy hung up his intercounty boots earlier this week following fifteen seasons with the Clare senior footballers.

The West Clare magpie won the GAA’s player of the month award in March 2010 for his prolific displays in Clare’s national league campaign scoring 1-27 over the course of four matches.

Tubridy won a Clare senior football championship medal in the same year scoring 0-05 in the county final win over Liscannor to see Doonbeg claim their eighteenth Jack Daly crown.

Clare Manager Colm Collins says that Clare’s loss will most definitely be Doonbeg’s gain.
