Over 1,200 premises in North West Clare are experiencing a power outage this morning.
A fault on the system which resulted in the loss of power for 1,227 customers near the Miltown Malbay area was first reported shortly before 11am.
Crews from ESB are working to rectify the problem and hope to have power restored by 2:30pm this afternoon.
