Over 700 new websites with the .ie domain name were registered in the banner county last year.
The .IE Domain Profile Report for 2022 shows that 44,946 new websites registered nationwide , with 785 of these created here, making Clare the 15th most active county in terms of new website registrations last year.
Ireland and Clare represented the most frequently used keywords in new .ie domain names in Clare.
In total, last year’s new website registration activity in Clare marks a 3.1% drop on the pre pandemic levels of 2019.
