Trolley Numbers At Regions Main Hospital Fall Below 100 For The First Time This Week

The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has dipped below 100 for the first time this week.

The latest INMO figures show there were 98 patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick during morning rounds, 46 of those in the Emergency Department.

The overall figure is 34 more than the next busiest facility.

They were among 632 people waiting for beds in hospitals across the country this morning.
