Almost €50,000 in funding has been granted for built heritage projects in Clare.
Minister of State for Heritage and Electoral Reform, Malcolm Noonan has announced that 95 heritage projects across the country will benefit from a total of €4.5m under this year’s Historic Structures Fund.
The Church of Immaculate Conception (St. Flannan’s) in Ennis is to receive €35,000 for the repair and conservation of stained glass windows.
St. John’s Church, Cratloe, meanwhile, will get a €13,000 cash injection for roof repairs.
