On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Nell Hensey who is a director and screenwriter from County Clare. Nell discussed her profound love for storytelling from a young age. She described her interest in screenwriting and filming while she was a student in Coláiste Muire. She discussed her joy at being nominated at this year’s Dublin International Film Festival for their Discovery Award for her short film BATH. She also mentioned her short romance and comedy drama called ‘Try and Touch’ being showcased at the recent Catalyst International Film Festival in Limerick. Nell also looked ahead to her plans for the near future and her aim to film more in County Clare.
