Peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday the 24th of August, 2023, in the tender care of the wonderful staff of The Intensive Care Unit, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.
Pre-deceased by his beloved father Martin, by other family members and many dear friends.
Joe will forever be in the hearts of his loving family.
Sadly missed by his loving mother Bridget, by his brother Raymond (Inagh) and by his sister’s Mary Mahon (Kilbeacanty) and Bridget Finnerty (Rinneen). Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Ann, brothers-in-law Fergus & Michael, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, aunts, uncle, cousins, relatives, fantastic neighbours and many great friends.

Joe will lie in repose at the Corless Funeral Home, Kinvara, on Wednesday evening August 30 th from 5.30pm until 7pm. Joe’s Funeral cortége will arrive to St. Kieran’s Church Doorus (H91 Y9V6), on Thursday August 31st for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. After Mass Joe will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Gort Cancer Support.
Joe’s family deeply appreciate your kindness, loyalty, love and support at this time. We wish to thank all who cared for Joe during his illness. Finally, a special word of thanks to our wonderful family, neighbours and friends for all they have done to help us in these difficult days.
