The president of the GAA is warning Clare County board to be careful that it's motion to have all games broadcast on free to air television doesn't negate the positives of the recent broadcasting deal.
The Irish Examiner reports Liam O'Neill has said the GAA will deal with the Clare motion and "let's see where it goes".
At the county's convention last week Clare delegates voted to have all matches broadcast on free to air channels once the current deal with Sky expires.
The newspaper also quotes Mr O'Neill as saying people should stop referring to the deal as the Sky deal and call it the GAA-GO deal as that's the main component of it.
Separately the new Clare GAA coaching and games officer says the work being done at club level is vital for success at county level.
2014 saw the Banner capture a third U21 All Ireland and Munster hurling title in row, while two Munster minor hurling titles have come to Clare in recent years.
Former chairman of Clare GAA Michael O'Neill takes over from Eamon Fennessey in the coaching and games role, and the Ballyea man says the clubs have a crucial role to play in maintaining recent success.
