One of Clonlara’s key men feels they are being rewarded for their efforts after reaching this years TUS Clare senior hurling final.

The south-east Clare men will face Crusheen in the decider on Sunday October 22nd in Cusack Park, as they bid to win a third ever title.

Donal Madden’s side are unbeaten so far in the championship, with man of the match Aidan Moriarty landing five points from play in their semi final win over Feakle.

He says everyone is focused this year on making sure they get things right both on and off the field.

Meanwhile Crusheen boss Michael Browne is hailing the defensive efforts of his side as they look forward to a first final since 2014.

Donal Touhy’s goal has only been breached twice so far this year, with three of their last four games seeing them keep clean sheets.

Browne says that provides a real foundation to go and attack games.
