A major peace rally is planned to take place in Shannon Airport this weekend.
The rally, planned for Sunday at 2pm will mark more than two decades of weekly US military flights through the airport, with the current conflict between Israel and Hamas bringing US involvement in foreign wars into renewed focus.
Joe Biden today announced that Israel has agreed to daily humanitarian pauses in its military activity to allow people to flee dangerous parts of Gaza.
Founder of Shannonwatch and former UN Peacekeeper, Dr. Edward Horgan, says the rally will commemorate children that have died in terror attacks and conflicts around the world.
