Clare Woman Who Volunteered At Palestinian Refugee Camp Says Boycott Movement Can End Violence

A Clare musician who volunteered in Palestine earlier this year claims financial pressure on Israel is the only way to bring the conflict to an end.

The United Nations is now warning of a “public health disaster ” in Gaza due to the spread of infectious disease in overcrowded shelters.

Last February, Ennis woman Síomha Brock worked at the West Bank’s Aida Refugee Camp ,where 6,000 internally displaced refugees live in a shared space of 1KM squared, with water and electricity supply controlled by Israel.

Síomha says every individual action has a part to paly in bringing the violence to an end.
