A Civic Reception will take place today to celebrate the unprecedented success of Newmarket Celtic FC in 2023.
Paddy Purcell’s side claimed a host of silverware last season, becoming the first-ever Clare club to win the FAI Junior Cup with a penalty shoot-out victory over St. Michael’s of Tipperary last April.
Captained by Irish junior international Eoin Hayes, they also claimed the Clare Premier Division trophy, the Tom Hand Cup and the President’s Cup last season.
Mayor of Clare Joe Cooney will host the special event in Arás Chontae An Chláir this evening from 5pm.
