Today on Morning Focus Gavin was joined by the 16 General Election Candidates for the People’s Debate at the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon. The candidates were put through their paces answering questions and discussing topics including; healthcare, childcare, employment, repealing the 8th amendment, flooding, agriculture, and crime. Candidates in attendance included; Pat Breen, Fine Gael; Richard Cahill, Independent; Joe Carey, Fine Gael; Clare Colleran Molloy, Fianna Fail; Timmy Dooley, Fianna Fail; Dr Michael Harty, Independent; Andre Sibo Hakizimana, Independent; Mary Howard, Fine Gael; Ian Lynch, Independent; Michael McDonagh, Fianna Fail; Michael McNamara, Labour; Noeleen Moran, Sinn Fein; Dermot Mulqueen, Independent; Niamh O’Brien, Fis Nua; Fergal Smith, Green Party.
