A Clare humanitarian worker who will be travelling to Gaza in the coming days is appealing to the public for help in order to deliver vital aid to children of the war-torn territory.
Claire Liddy previously visited the West Bank in 2019, where she says she witnessed children being disconnected from water and electricity supplys regularly.
Israel and Hamas are currently seeking further assurances from proposed ceasefire terms presented by the US, that will attempt to end the conflict that has so far claimed 37,000 lives and displaced 1.7 million.
Claire says she felt compelled to help after witnessing scenes of devastation from home.
