Clare’s Independent TD has welcomed the provision of 119 new social houses for the county.
The figure was released by the Housing Minister last night in his department’s updated Status of Social Housing Projects Nationwide.

The Clare figure was dismissed by some as the rehashing of previous figures but Dr Michael Harty says the plan is bearing fruit.
