Clare hurling fans and local businesses are gearing up as All-Ireland mania grips the county.

It comes as stakeholders and loyal supporters are putting the final touches to preparations for Sunday’s main event.

This Sunday, the Banner will be hoping to claim their fifth All-Ireland final and loyal supporters from around the globe are gearing up for promises to be another memorable day.

The match itself will be a sell-out in Croke Park, with the scramble for tickets expected to continue until the early hours of Sunday morning.

For those who can’t make it, Clare FM will be bringing you all the colour of the day from Jones’ Road and Croke Park.

Clare County Council will also be broadcasting the All-Ireland final live on the big screen at the Fair Green at Active Ennis Tim Smythe Park.

The free admission family friendly event is open to patrons from 1pm and promises something for everyone.

Businesses in the town are also hailing the hype and atmosphere brought with the occasion.

Philip O’Donnell from Tommy O’Donnell Sports in Ennis insists Clare’s appearance in the All-Ireland Final will inspire the next generation of hurling heroes.

Liam Meaney from Club Dangan Menswear meanwhile says the increased footfall ahead of All-Ireland Final Day has been a godsend for local businesses.

For now, the destiny lies with Clare’s warriors driven on by manager Brian Lohan who face Cork in whats a repeat fixture of this county’s last All-Ireland success in 2013.

Action will be underway at 3:30pm in Croke Park on Sunday, with the Banner roar to be heard loud and clear, near and far.
