One of Ennistymon’s key men insists they are viewing this years TUS Clare senior football championship as an opportunity for a fresh start.

The North Clare men have had a rollercoaster last two seasons, reaching the county final in 2022 before being embroiled in the relegation battle last year.

They have also reached the last two Cusack Cup finals, but were dethroned by Lissycasey in this years decider.

County star Cillian Rouine, who missed most of last year through injury, says they are ready to press the reset button ahead of their opening round against Doonbeg on Saturday evening.

Meanwhile the closing senior game of the opening weekend sees Kildysart go up against Corofin on Saturday evening.
