Lissycasey sounded warning of their intention to challenge for Jack Daly with a stylish 2-16 to 0-7 win over Kilmihil.

Shane Griffin’s early goal set the tone for the contest with Lissycasey leading 1-8 to 0-4 at the break.

Griffin’s second green flag arrived as the game entered the final quarter, on a day when 8 different scorers contributed to the tally for Aidan Moloney’s side.

Ennistymon edged the quintessential game of two halves as they beat Doonbeg by 1-7 to 0-8.

The West Clare side led 0-8 to 0-2 at the break having played with the wind, and had Darragh Burns to thank for half their tally.

Ennistymon roared back into the game after the restart with Diarmuid Fahy firing home a brilliant goal after a top class delivery over the top from Sean Rynne

That was quickly followed with points from Fahy and Cillian Rouine as Ennistymon rattled off 1-5 unanswered to take the win.

Kildysart also had to dig deep before seeing off Corofin by 0-12 to 0-9.

They led 0-7 to 0-4 at half time, with six different scorers contributing in the first period.

Corofin reduced that gap to the minimum inside the closing stages, but Kildysart notched three of the last four scores of the game to collect the victory.
