Thousands of people will take part in the annual May Day march in Dublin this afternoon.
The focus of this year’s gathering will be on the housing and homelessness crisis.

The march will begin at the Garden of Remembrance and conclude at Liberty Hall.
Housing campaigner Fr. Peter McVerry says the government needs to take more effective action.
