The issues around childcare are something we highlight frequently here on Morning Focus.
Those issues include facilities closing down around the county and the rest of the country because of problems with the CORE funding scheme, soaring public liability costs and other financial pressures, and parents facing a battle to access childcare spaces.
However, one childcare practitioner in County Clare is bucking the trend and opening her own creche.
Laura Corbett opens her creche, Laura’s Childcare in Ballynacally today.
