Scariff could be without some of their key men for Saturday’s TUS Clare senior hurling quarter-final clash with Cratloe.

All Ireland winner Mark Rodgers is in a race against time to be fit for the game as he recovers from a leg injury.

Kealan Hartigan and Liam Crotty are also currently on the injured list as the East Clare men bid to reach the last four for the second year running.

Manager Mark McKenna says they need to improve from their previous showings if they are to seal a semi final spot.

Meanwhile one of Cratloe’s leading forwards is confident they will carry momentum into Saturdays game

Conor McGrath’s dramatic late point against Kilmaley saw Cratloe advance to the last eight, and 2013 All Ireland winner Cathal McInerney admits it was a huge moment for the club.

Throw in on Saturday afternoon is at 2pm with commentary on Clare FM with Annes Mace Lahinch Road, Ennis
