Clare’s Nigerian community will bring Yoruba Culture Week to a close today with a special event in the county town.
All week, the Yoruba culture has been celebrated with a number of events aimed at educating both children born to Nigerian migrants here as well as native Irish people on the unique culture.

Language and dance classes, as well as cultural displays, have lit up Ennis throughout the week.
A gala dinner will be held at the Christian Brothers School in Ennis this evening to bring it to an end and Abiodun Ladigbolu says they’ve loved educating the people of Clare about their background.
