Tulla opened the score within the first 2min with a point from play by Sinead Conlon. With a very strong wind on their side Tulla Sinead Conlon proceeded to clock up another two points.
Ruan got a goal 8 minutes into play to help settle them into the match. Sinead Conlon took a free and with accuracy got it over the bar.
She quickly followed up with a well-deserved goal. Tulla piled on the pressure with Conlon pointing just before Sherena McGrath got a goal. Ruan fought back with a goal just before half time. The home side were ahead at half time 2-5 Ruan 2-0.
The strong wind was in Ruan favours for the second half but it was Conlon who was on target first with a converted free.
Ruan responded in kind but Tulla had scores from Leah Molloy, McGrath and a brace from Orna Mulconnery. Ruan got two more goals in close succession putting a lot of pressure on Tulla. The home side held out however to taje the win.
