Will it be case of all-change in the newly-created electoral area of Ennistymon when voters go to the polls on May 24th?

Following a Boundary Commission Report West Clare has been split, making Ennistymon a four-seat area spanning North Clare, and creating a five-seat Kilrush Electoral Area.

With the retirement of long-serving Fianna Fáil councillor, Richard Nagle, Fine Gael’s Cllr Bill Slattery is the only sitting candidate contesting the election in Ennistymon.
