Clare’s David Tubridy has been confirmed as the all time leading scorer in the National Football Leagues.
The Doonbeg man, who made his debut for the Banner in 2007, took the top spot after hitting 1-8 against Cork on Sunday afternoon.

That took his overall tally to 22 goals and 412 points, or a total of 478 points in 13 seasons, as he relegated Sligo legend Mickey Kerins to second spot.
Former Clare U21 manager Joe Garry, who had Tubridy as part of his squad at that grade, says it is a tribute to the consistent high levels he brings to the game.
