Property prices in Clare have bucked the national trend by remaining relatively steady at the end of the year.
A new report from MyHome.ie, published today, has found that the median asking price for a property in the county was still €250,000 between October and December.
This means prices have risen by €15,000 compared with this time last year.
The report, carried out in association with Davy, found that asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house rose to €229,000, up just over €29,000 compared to the same period last year.
Nationally, house prices rose by 6% leading to a call on the Government to review its affordable housing plans as a matter of urgency.
