Cratloe have defeated St Breckans to be crowned the winners of the TUS Clare Senior Football Championship 2023.
Colm Collins’s side took an early lead with first half points from Diarmuid Ryan, Jamie Stack, Tommy Rooney and Cathal McInerney and the half-time whistle saw the two sides almost neck-and-neck with a scoreline of 0-06 to 0-04 to Cratloe.
Cratloe remained on top in the second half with Patrick Bourke Man of the Match Cathal McInerney scoring an impressive tally of 1-06.
A late goal from Joe McGann restored a two point gap between the two sides but wasn’t enough to stop the Cratloe men in their tracks.
The victory sees Cratloe win their first senior football title since 2014.
The final score in Cusack Park was Cratloe 1-10 St Breckans 1-08.
