Water Outages In Ennis Following Mechanical Failure At Drumcliffe Treatment Plant

Uisce Eireann is working to restore water supply in Ennis following a mechanical failure.

Dedicated water service engineers have been deployed and currently in the midst of repair works at the Drumcliffe Water Treatment Plant.

Customers in Ennis and surrounding areas are likely to experience outages and low pressure until repairs are completed at 5pm this evening.

Though, the utility is advising homes and businesses that it could take a number of hours for normal water supply to return.

Uisce Éireann’s Darragh Conneely commented: “The repairs are being conducted as quickly and as efficiently as possible to minimise disruption and restore the water supply to homes and businesses. We understand the inconvenience an unplanned outage can have on our customers and appreciate their patience as we work to return normal water supply as quickly as possible.”
