A further road closure will be in effect in the Ennis Town Centre from Monday.
To facilitate the ongoing street enhancement works as part of the Ennis Public Realm Regeneration Scheme, the section of road at the top of O’Connell Street connecting Barrack Street to Carmody Street will be closed.

Traffic coming from the Station Road side will be accommodated by diverting to the right onto Barrack Square towards Upper Market Street for the duration of the closure which will be in place for nine weeks.
Clare County Council says it’s “business as usual” throughout the works and “every effort will be made to minimise disruption” during the construction phase.
