Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing those behind significant criminal damage at a local amenity in Shannon.
A public bench at a local viewing point, known as the Second Point, which is a green area that faces out onto the Shannon Estuary was damaged on Saturday evening just after 5pm.

The area is located behind the Handball Court close to St Senan’s School.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnesses suspicious activity in the area on Saturday evening to contact them on 061 365 900.
