Homes and businesses in parts of West Clare are experiencing water supply disruption this afternoon.
Uisce Éireann is working to restore supply, following a burst water main in the Kilrush and surrounding areas.

Customers in the Kilrush, Killimer, Cooraclare, Creegh, Mullagh and surrounding areas are being advised they may experience low water pressure, temporary water discolouration or intermittent disruptions to water supply.
Work is scheduled to take place up until 8 o’clock tonight, but Uisce Eireann is advising it typically takes two to three hours for normal supply to be fully restored to all areas as the water refills the network, especially for those on higher ground or at the end of the network.
