A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Clare this weekend.
Met Eireann is advising the public to prepare for potential impacts of localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions due to heavy and persistent downpours.

The low-level alert comes into effect on Saturday at midnight and will also apply to Limerick, Galway, Cork, Kerry and Waterford.
The notice will remain in place for approximately 24 hours and will lift at midnight on Sunday October 6th.
