Homes and businesses in Lissycasey are without water this afternoon due to what’s being described as a “major break” on the line.
The Lissycasey Group Water Scheme, which serves over 1,200 households in the the West Clare settlement as well as Ballynacally and surrounding areas, has confirmed the disruption will continue until 2pm at least.

It’s understood the outage commenced just after 10 this morning.
