Clare have booked their spot in the last playoff round of the Munster Minor Football Championship.
They eased past Waterford by 5-11 to 0-6 to set up a showdown against Tipperary next week.
Clare started the game brightly with Gearoid Cahill hitting the first of his three goals after just four minutes to see Clare 1-2 to 0-0 ahead at that point.
Waterford hit eight first half wides which would prove crucial, as they trailed by 1-3 to 0-4 at the break.
In the second half, Clare took complete control, with Cahill finishing off his hat trick while Ross O’Doherty helped himself to a brace.
Over the course of the hour, there were 9 different scorers for the Banner with 5-8 of their total coming from play.
